As a senior consultant at GHV, Saira works with the Gates Foundation’s Global Advocacy Team, providing strategic support and thought partnership. Saira brings expertise in planning, organizational impact, project management, high level advocacy and influence.

Saira has over 15 years of deep expertise in international development focused on poverty eradication and global health, public mobilization, policy change campaigning, advocacy, and partner and stakeholder management.

Saira has worked on major health replenishments, including GFATM, Gavi, and IDA. Previously, Saira served as director of planning and performance, senior project director and UK director at The ONE Campaign. Saira has also designed and led successful campaigns and supporter engagement initiatives at change.org and Save the Children.

Saira is an Agile PM Practitioner and certified Objectives and Key Results (OKR) coach. Saira also holds a master’s degree in urban studies as well as bachelor’s degrees in politics and society, and English and film studies. Saira has lived in Paris and worked across Europe, North and South America, and sub-Saharan Africa. She currently lives and works from London, UK.

Outside of work, Saira spends most of her time wishing she was by the sea.
