Bisola Falola is a thought leader and strategist who operates at the intersection of advocacy, culture, and social change. As a senior consultant at GHV, Bisola is currently supporting our partnership with Pivotal Ventures.  

Bisola has dedicated her career to advancing social impact and brings more than 16 years of expertise designing and scaling transformative initiatives across a breadth of pressing social challenges (health equity, racial and climate justice, housing, education, civic engagement, caregiving).

Previously, Bisola served as deputy director at Open Society Foundations and a strategic advisor to leading funders in the philanthropic sector. Through these roles, she catalyzed funds to build power for frontline communities, helped to grow the field of narrative and cultural change, and collaborated with local partners to advance equitable, place-based solutions.  

She holds an EdM in education and technology from Harvard University, and a PhD in geography from the University of Texas at Austin. When she’s not working, you can find Bisola outside, gardening, walking, having sidewalk chats, or looking for her next snack or refreshing beverage.
