As an engagement manager at GHV, D’Arcy works primarily with the Polio and Vaccination Program Advocacy and Communication team at the Gates Foundation. She has also supported partners including Planned Parenthood. Within her portfolio, D’Arcy brings a strong focus on cross team co-ordination, project management, stakeholder engagement, and event planning.
D’Arcy has eight years of expertise in global health advocacy. She has supported large-scale events including the second Global Forum on Childhood Pneumonia held in Spain in 2023 and more recently an Africa Immunization Partners Advocacy and Communications meeting in Nairobi. She has also contributed to multiple resource mobilizations including COVAX, COVAX AMC, GPEI, and Gavi 6.0, and has engaged in a large-scale landscape analysis of HPA associations to find suitable organizations to invite to an RFP process on behalf of a client.
Prior to joining GHV, D’Arcy held positions with the Bank of New York, Deloitte. and PwC. She holds a BA in international insurance and European studies from the University of Limerick and an MBA from Central Saint Martins, London. She has lived and worked in Ireland, the UK, and Australia.
D’Arcy currently resides in Cork, Ireland. Outside of work, she can be found walking with a coffee in hand!
