As a senior advisor at GHV, Kristy works primarily with the Family Planning Program Team at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Kristy provides strategic advocacy and communications support to the team’s leadership, amplifying their voices and influence and furthering their impact goals.
An accomplished advocate and movement-builder, Kristy is highly practiced in organizing issue-based, grassroots campaigns, such as the global What Women Want initiative. Kristy has worked across issue areas including SRHR, MNCH, PHC, Nutrition, Malaria, HIV and TB, NTDs, Gender-based Violence. She has successfully developed and implemented policy and social change strategies, and built action-oriented coalitions, across Asia, Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean, North America, and Sub-Sahara Africa.
Kristy previously served as the director of policy and advocacy at both Pathfinder International and PATH, and CEO of White Ribbon Alliance Global.
Kristy holds an MPH from Boston University School of Public Health and a BA in Anthropology, Sociology, and Women’s Studies from Ohio Wesleyan University.
When Kristy is not working, she is reading, skiing, or hanging out with her friends, family, and four cats.
