Beth works as an engagement manger on GHV’s Africa Team. She leads our work supporting the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation’s East Africa team. She provides strategic thought partnership and engagement across the foundation’s strategies in Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania, and Uganda. She has also supported the Clean Air Fund’s work to assess air quality management guidance. Beth brings significant strategic planning and thought partnership, change management, and policy, advocacy, and project management expertise to her portfolio.
Beth has 19 years of expertise across tobacco, reproductive health, primary healthcare, women's economic empowerment, agriculture, and digital public infrastructure. She also specializes in government relations, leadership communications, stakeholder engagement, and strategic investment decisions.
Previously, Beth held positions as interim senior program officer, Tobacco at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation; strategic advisor to Montclair Community Farms, and consultant at the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA). Beth co-authored the Clean Air Fund Strengthening Air Quality Management Guidance report, authored the Gates Foundation’s Case study: tobacco control policy adoption and implementation in Senegal, and co-authored The Global Programme to Enhance Reproductive Health Commodity Security, 2006.
Beth holds a master of international affairs from Columbia University and a bachelor of science from Fairfield University. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, is VP of travel soccer for Montclair United, and a board member at Montclair Community Farms.
