As a senior consultant at GHV, Anstes Agnew provides policy and advocacy advice on donor resource mobilization for women’s health and innovation. She also specializes in public investment planning, aid and debt management, private sector development, health financing, and digital health investment.
Anstes is a public finance and health expert who brings 13 years of experience in strategy, policy, and advisory work. She has extensive experience providing technical and managerial support to governments on health and public financial management issues, from the perspective of a donor (U.S. Government PEPFAR and Global Fund) and implementer (Clinton Health Access Initiative).
Previously, Anstes led partnerships and technology pilots with governments to deploy digital systems for immunization with the Tony Blair Institute (TBI). She also worked alongside African Presidencies and Ministries of Finance on private sector development and debt management.
Anstes holds an MPA from the Harvard Kennedy School and BA in international relations from Stanford University. She has lived and worked across East and West Africa and currently lives in Nairobi, Kenya.
